It's terrible.  Admit it.  It's a bad bad bad thing.  It's horrible and you'd never willingly eat it.  Go on.  Admit  it.

No, I don't eat Sunpat!! You win!  :P

I mean, I have had it before, but it's not my PB of choice! I can't honestly remember when I last bought PB ... maybe a year ago ... but I think it was Tesco's organic brand.

I guess I'm weird, but I find sunpat fine.  I think the natural earth is better though.  PB&Co is good though, but only comes in small jars, and I go through lots and lots of PB. I live on it for breakfast.
Then again, I only ate smucker's all natural (nothing but peanuts and salt) or the plain ground up peanuts from a market that was like whole foods in the US.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I'm exactly the same... SunPat will do, but the Natural Earth from the health food store is even better. The kind where you have to stir in the oil that rises to the top. Pure and natural, baby!

I do, however, now have a craving for cashew butter. Thanks, whoever mentioned it!
Ok, so I'm smug.

Sunpat is fine with me, I will eat pretty much any peanut butter.  But in the US I started getting into more natural nut butters, anyway.  I love cashew butter and almond butter, too.  So I guess I am used to the less sugary ones.  I am a nut fiend and I am proudly obsessed with peanut butter!  DH thinks it's ok, but he only eats a teaspoon on a sandwich.  Me, I like about two tablespoons, thick and creamy, stick-to-the-roof-of-my-mouth kind of peanut butter sandwiches.  He tried peanut butter with jam and thought it was ok.  He said he could see how Americans would like the sweet and salty flavour of it, but it wasn't his favourite.  I usually go for peanut butter and banana most of the time, and he thought that was a bit stranger, but still ok.  My 2 year-old (English) stepson nearly gagged when I gave him a peanut butter sandwich, it was like there was hair on his tongue or something!
What makes me laugh is how everyone at work makes fun of my peanut butter obsession (I usually bring a half PB sandwich to work for breakfast) saying it's so gross, yet they eat black pudding sandwiches!   [smiley=puke.gif]  To each his own!  Just be sure to tell your man that he can't eat black pudding in front of you and you can call it even!   :P

The part about your Stepson made me giggle  ;D  [smiley=laugh3.gif]

When I lived in the States I worked the midnight shift Sun -Thurs night. I would take a PB&J sandwich in for my 1am break every night my friends at work said I was going to turn into a peanut cause I ate a pbj so often lol.  ::)  when Dh came over to visit to me in the States he couldn't believe how often I a PBJ sandwich he said if I needed money for groceries he would gladly go an buy me some so I could stop eating my pbj sandwiches so often. I thanked him & told him I didn't need any money for groceries I had plenty of food in the house I just really enjoyed having that sandwich alot.  ;D

Dh likes to eat Black Pudding in sandwiches I wont eat that period  [smiley=bleck.gif]  [smiley=blank.gif]  at least my pbj doesn't stink the house up at all unlike his which stinks up the house for hours.  ::)  :P

I don't care for Sunpat, but then I've not eaten PB for a while.  I think the last time I bought some was last year.

I do like Cheese & Jam though - especially Wensleydale (or Wensleydale with Cranberry) & Damson Jam.   [smiley=smitten.gif]

Oh. Ohhhhh. Who first mentioned Nutella on this thread? I owe you a round!

I *love* hazelnuts. Can't get enough of 'em. I said to DF, "why didn't you tell me there was a hazelnut and chocolate spread?" Then I decked him.

Bought a jar this afternoon, and it really is special.

I had some Wensleydale with cranberries, and then I put some leftover cranberry sauce on top.... the most delicious cheese and biscuit ever!!!   ;D

I never had a problem buying Nutella in the US.  They sold it in every major grocery store.

No, no, no! Don't let them win!  ;)  :P

I haven't had the chance to chime in here, but Chary, I've got your back now! Sunpat is AWFUL but so is Skippy, etc. I typically get Waitrose own brand or Sainsburys organic. DH probably eats more PB than I do but wouldn't touch a PB&J for love or money.
