I think it's kind of interesting how there are so many posts that seem to generalize about attitudes about boobs in the US. Especially the parts relating to how women dress in the office. In my opinion, there are some distinct regional differences in the US when it comes to 'professional' dress. I would also assume this is similar in the UK. I just moved four months ago from the Los Angeles area where I grew up (Orange County, to be more specific), and I often find myself in offices in London and several other large European cities, and I can't say that I've really noticed any difference at all in the way European women and the women in Southern California dress in the office. However, as I travelled throughout the US, there were definitely some differences in how women dressed in the office in the mid-west (for example) vs. either of the coasts.
There are definitely differences in what is 'allowed' to be shown on broadcast television in the US and the UK, however there's just as many boobs on cable in the US as there are in the UK. And, go to just about any news stand within a 50 mile radius of where I grew up in California, and you'd find the same types of publications you find here. So, I really didn't find there was much difference in attitudes or dress having moved here from Los Angeles. However, I can recognize that Los Angeles, New York, Miami etc. are probably not going to be the same as Dayton, OH or Salt Lake City, UT.
I'm wondering if attitudes differ significantly from places like London to places more rural, or even to other major cities such as Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, etc.?
