The Eleventh Doctor

Thoughts?

I'm not sure I like having a Doctor younger than me, or one with that hair.
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.

My reaction?...WTF???

David Tennant will always be the Doctor to me :\\\'(. Consolation is that the mortal Doctor is live and well with Rose in the parallel universe.

Well, I imagine the hair may well be significantly different once he's actually filming....

I'm a bit giggly over the whole thing as he actually looks quite a bit like a good friend of mine (who is a huge Doctor Who fan and is also 26 years old, so I'm not going to be able to watch S5 without imagining R as the Doctor)!

IMO he's better looking than DT.  That's my only input!

LOL!  My first reaction was - man!  Is that guy ever butt ugly!!!  And what's with the squashed (flat-ish) nose?!!!  :P

I preferred Christopher Eccleston - not so much for his looks, but his quirkiness, which is something I always admire.  David Tennant is easy on the eyes, IMO.  But man is this new guy ugly!!!  :-\\\\  :)

Hmm..either we have WAY different tastes, or I'm looking at the wrong guy.

I'm going to look again!

Hee hee - it's probably different tastes, but nothing wrong with that!  :D

Maybe it's the way/angle they were showing him on camera during the Dr Who Confidential tonight - but his great big nose looked kind of flat, and he's got those neanderthal-like overhanging browbones - that sometimes you couldn't see his eyes, just dark shadows!  :o

I'm madly in love (lust?) with David Tennant, but I don't think this new guy is anything to sneeze at, either - the photo on the main BBC Doctor Who page at the moment is rather yummy, IMO...  ;D

I don't know who I was looking at, but it isn't the same actor.

I don't really fancy the old doctor, or the new doctor.

I've never understood people's love of Eccleston. The episodes I've seen with him always want to make me yell "Acting" which in our crowd is used to make fun of people who are overacting considerably in their roles.

Case in point:  episode The Doctor Dances with the godawful "everybody lives" part.

Umm..is it me or does the new doctor sound a bit....high and/or hammered in his interview? :)
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

I just saw him in those Pullman Victorian mysteries with Billie Piper ...Ruby in the Smoke. He had a certain something though he was very heavy on the "cockney geezer" routine...not very hott-alicious though.

It's a sad fact that you can only love one doctor.
