I'm jealous. I miss it!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Missed last night, but I just 'series linked' it on my Sky box.

Ross loves it - he knows the intro spiel by heart.  Loving it!  Although Ross wanted the guy who had kitten scratches to go through last night.  Not because he was the better chef per se....more because my darling DH is cat-obsessed and willing to support anyone who loves cats too unequivically.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

LOL! I was rooting for him for the same reasons!

I do think that John person was awful, though. He really couldn't cook and I agree that Greg/John were hoodwinked by him in the first round. I have a feeling a few of the other contestants would have performed much better in the other two challenges. I would have liked to have seen Ravioli Woman do something else - her ravioli may not have been great, but it takes balls to make your own pasts in the first round!

I couldn't understand why she didn't make a simple cream sauce - it seemed such an obvious choice with a lemon ravioli!  I'm glad the lady who got through did, it just would have been great if the cat man did too, he seemed to have potential.  And a good personality.

How did everyone feel about last night's cooks?  Must say I wasn't really that impressed with any of them.

Nope. But I knew they'd put through the woman who cried. Or was that on Tuesday? They always seem to think tears mean the person wants it more.  ::)

See, they probably should have had our Vicky!  She may well have mopped the floor with that lot.  Hopefully tonight's will be more inspiring.  Truthfully, one of the reasons I watch is that I like to see people who are better than me (I learn from them and shamelessly thieve their techniques), and last night's group were actually on a par with me as a cook, if not far below. Show me my betters!   ::)
