Hello, everyone. I've lived in the UK for almost a decade now, in & around London. (Naturalized) dual citizen. Originally from Ohio via NYC. Lefty-liberal and then some. More details as the situation develops...

Hi Wulfstan, welcome aboard, what brought you to the UK in the first place, if that's not too nosey a question? Relationship with a Brit or some other reason?

Just wanted to say welcome to the lefty-liberal.

It must be great to be a dual citizen.  I still cna't get over the whole which passport thing to use thing, but I suppose I don't have to worry about that right now....

I hope you enjoy the site!

Welcome aboard! I'm a lefty myself. My chronology resembles yours a bit. From Connecticut originaly but moved to NYC early on then moved here to the UK. Look forward to reading your postings

Everyone who's stopped by, thanks.

I have a fair amount of trouble navigating this site with my mac (it happens sometimes with some sites - don't know why), so I don't know how often I'll be posting. It'll depend on my level of patience on any given day...

I have a Mac too, and not much trouble. What's ailing you?
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Crashes, mostly. Or freezes (the browser, not the computer) and won't go anywhere. Also the text often behaves in very odd ways - it floats free of its 'box' and mixes it up with other posts, making it hard to read.

Let's just say I've got a neurotic mac.

Make sure you have the most recent version of whatever browser you're using. Run disk first aid, rebuild the desktop and allot more memory to the browser. If that doesn't help, let me know.  :)
