Saw the Wahaca place on Masterchef the other night....

Yes! So nice to have a Masterchef success story. I loved Thomasina back when she was on it. 

Am I the only one whose brain twitches at the spelling of Wahaca?  I get that it's on purpose, but it's really bothersome.

Wahaca isn't much like Chipotle at all.

Now, places like Mucho Mas are almost identical - I think someone said there was another Chipotle-esque joint in Westfield mall now.

But agree with you, Chary, about the fastfood!!! My Father nearly fell off his chair at Wendy's when I told him that the boys and I dont eat fast food.. (after dragging us to three different fast food joints within a week!)

Yes, I am "banned" from eating fast food.  My partner refuses to go there and now I am over 2 years fast food free.  The closest we get is the odd Nandos and Subway if we are on the run.  I used to be a 5 day a week fast food junkie in the States.  Also used to be 6.5 stone (90lbs) heavier to prove it.

I can't look at Toys R Us without cringing, either.  But I think that's mainly because of the short, toy obsessed company I keep.

I went to Wahaca today at the Westfield Mall. Husband wasn't too impressed but I thought the tortilla soup and the pibil tacos were to die for!

Well I will take P.F. Changs off your hands then out of those options (because I do really enjoy their food!)- I just don't like seeing american chains take over the world! McDonalds and Pizza Hut are already too good at that!
