American Idol 2009!!!!![SPOILERS AFTER FRIDAY NIGHTS SHOW]

It's back.  Starts up this Tuesday in the US and Thursday?? in the UK. (I should know this)

They have made some changes and added a new judge.  I can't wait!!!

I don't know about this new judge on AI, though. It sounds like trouble to me ... like with Sharon leaving after Danii Minogue got added. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I've read a couple interviews with her, and I like her.  She's a singer (apparently quite a good one) as well, so it's going to be fun when people try to pull an "As if you could do better!".  Everything I've seen says she's more like Simon than anyone else, which can only be a good thing!!

Plus - and this is the best part - they're expanding Hollywood Week!!  Yay!!

I can't wait! This new person is, I think, more of a song-writer? I haven't seen much about her but it'll be interesting I'm sure.

Those people I don't mind either!  Not at all!  It's the ones who don't know better and their awful friends don't stop them.

I didn't know!!! Well, that's definitely good news. I know nothing about this new person at all! I was just afraid that there'd be a sort of rivalry - even if it turned out to be a media-created and fueled rivalry - and that Paula would get her feelings hurt and leave the show. I worry about Paula. And that would be my worst nightmare!

I'm all for more cotton candy forests, unicorns and rainbow fountains! Yipppeeee! 

Didn't the new judge (what is her name?) and Paula live together at some point? I think they go way back.
