American Idol 2009!!!!![SPOILERS AFTER FRIDAY NIGHTS SHOW]

In the second group no one really impressed me.  The girl with the red hair who was put through was probably the best out of all of them.  I hope the last group is better.  I think I'm going with Danny to win.

I liked the sound of the blond chic who sang the Duffy/Amy Winehouse style song but her little shakey dance was not at all appealing.

I thought both groups have been pretty awful. Whomever is advising them on what songs to chose needs to be fired.

I liked the blonde, too, but her baby doll dress annoyed me! So far none of them are rocking my world.

Chary, sorry Adam went through! I think he does have a great voice, but I don't think I like him very much at all.

See, I loved her baby doll dress and her kooky little dance ... but not her voice so much. 

I LOVE Allison!! She's the redhead. She's totally bonkers and has a set of lungs on her that can't be beat! Besides, anyone who does a Heart song gets an immediate A+ from me. She's like a mini-Kelly Clarkson and that, to me, is a VERY good thing! Love her!

I wish the Bette Davis Eyes girl had gone through. She was kind of nuts, too. I find myself rooting for the weirdos this year.

I cannot express how much I loathe that plastic posing wind-up doll of an Adam Lambert. Ugh. He's phony to the core.

Heeee! I do still love her! I thought the song was OK, but not great. The chorus part was nice, but I'm not sure she's as good a songwriter as she is a singer. It was so nice to see her though!! And she's so very pretty! I heart her. 

I think there's a good chance that Allison will take the whole thing. She has it all, IMO.
I had high hopes for Jasmine, she's so cute but she was horrible. The tattoo baby doll dress girl is gorgeous and I like her voice, but that is such a boring song and she wasn't very good. Cute dress and dance though.

About Adam... I actually think he is great. Cheesy as hell, but he can sing and the girls will love him. I would love to hear a duet between Adam and Allison. They would be such a cute pop/rock couple. I do agree with you, chary, that he is kind of phony.

I also have to admit that I love Nick/Norman and am sure we will see him again in something else, maybe even a wild card.

I'm not sure about Kris. Sometimes I think that we can't hear what they hear and I didn't think he was that good, but maybe it didn't translate well over the air.

I think maybe he got through based more on previous performances than on that night alone. He wasn't the best by far this past week, but overall I think he's really talented. Plus, he's got another of those kooky little dances that I love so much!

A TV blog I read pointed out that they think it wasn't really his singing that got him through, but the fact that he's the first contestant that the tweens could swoon over.  Don't know if I agree, but it's a possibility.
