I can't wait to watch!!!

I was distinctly underwhelmed by the third group. There was one girl who was OK - I'm not up on all their names yet, but she had long dark hair and wore a cropped black jacket over a long sparkly top. But I didn't LOVE her. I think the second of the three groups was the strongest by far! But I'm soooo looking forward to Wild Card night!

Stacey - that link that you posted? Does it just talk about the third group kids, or does it say who goes through?

It just talks about the third group. (It was posted after the live show on Tuesday before results)  But it's really mis-leading in my opinion.  Especially about the Wildcard info.

Regardless of how bad they they were, I STILL cried watching!  Every week I do it.  I don't know why!?

I've never watched before this year, and I've caught a few episodes only because I enjoyed X-Factor so much last year, so I thought maybe I was missing something by having never watched it. I have to say, I don't like it nearly as much as X-Factor. Maybe it's just me...

Are you UK folks getting three shows this week?  How are they working the wild card show into all of it?

I'm massively annoyed as my DVR cut out before they announced all the wild card winners.  I already knew who the final 12 are, but I still wanted to see reactions!!  Grr.

We had two hours of group three last night. Then tonight we have a one-hour results show, then another hour of wild cards. So four hours in two days! What did you have?

Mine did too!!!!! Well, it crapped out on the last one anyway. I saw the first 2 announced and then *blip* it was gone. I wish DVR would record the show however long it's on, even if it goes over, rather than just the time slot. It always craps out on the next week's previews for Lost too, dammit.

Ours was spread out over 3 days. Two hours of group 3 one night, one hour results the next night and then one hour (plus what they ran over) wild card show the last night.

Well, I'm happy to come hear to discuss AI because my friends and family refuse to watch it now.  They think it's more like a popularity contest.  I'm beginning to agree with them.  I didn't like most of the people they chose for the Wild Card.  Why have a top 13?  Why not a Top 14 so Ju'Not could be in there?  I think he did a terrific job and I can't imagine why he wasn't chosen for the Wild Card.  I'm glad Anoop is back, but I think this will be my last year watching.  I completely forgot to watch the Wild Card show last night.  That's not like me at all.

I was pretty happy with the Wild Card choices overall. I'm very pleased that spazzy armed dancing girl got through! 

So, what was the point of picking Tatiana for the wild card?  Just so we could all watch her have a complete breakdown when they didn't pick her? ENOUGH AI.

I was not digging Von (Shark boy) so was glad he didn't get through.

Every year there's a couple you don't think should go through and they're great and a couple you think are fantastic that don't get through.

I think the new judge is keeping Paula too sane so I'm not digging that either.

That's exactly what I was thinking while I was watching last night! Paula's much better (i.e., more insane) when it's just her and the boys. Maybe they should have got a couple of new male judges instead.

I agree, I want it back to three judges!  And I'm not loving the way they are doing things this year.  But I do LOVE that they put Anoop through! (Even though I doubt it was Anoop who was the 13th choice)

Overall talent wise, I think they have some great people. (Although Jamar INMO is far better then so many of the final 13!)

I do like how they're getting quickly through the let down bit without stringing it out with the whole 'it MIGHT be you' thing.  Let them down gently and quickly and let's move on.
