I loathe Danny. I see smug everytime he's up there. Kris is actually growing on me. I think he does have a lot of promise and will probably do some interesting stuff if he can retain control of his output rather than whomever signs him.

I'm sorry to see Allison go but she's got years to make it big.

Adam is a weird one. I enjoy watching him and he's got chops to die for. But I *still* don't know what he'll end up doing. He nails all the genres but I want to know what *his* niche is. I suspect it's more like what we saw this week, but I'm still not sure.

There was an interesting interview with Simon in the print version of TV Guide here. He's prediciting Danny and Adam in the final. He also said that Adam is the only one to have his own agenda and who is in control.

I think Simon is spot on in the interview.  This should be an interesting finale.  I was in the Danny camp, but now I'm in the Adam camp.  I was hoping to see Kris leave this week, because I really like Allison.

I agree with you, but I think of him like Pink. Amazing vocals, quirky style and a ton of star quality. He could do edgier pop songs, ballads and rock anthems. I'd have Linda Perry from 4 Non Blondes now a very successful producer, produce his CD. I'd make millions!   

I'm bummed that Allison is gone, but not all that surprised.  I think if she'd picked a song more people knew, she might still be around.  Top four is not the time to break out your favorite song that Joe Public's never heard.

I'm not a huge fan of Kris.  He's kind of doing the Jack Johnson/Jason Mraz thing, and I don't really think that's a genre that can hold too many artists.  Plus, is it just me, or is he distinctly lacking a personality?

Danny has bothered me from the beginning.  I don't hate him, but I really don't like him either.  That final note alone should have sent him home.

I love Adam.  I still wish he would leave that upper register alone for one song, but he is the only one left who has any semblance of versatility.  Plus, he's the only one who looks like he's genuinely enjoying himself.  That goes a long way for a performer.

And I hate to burst Stacey's bubble, but I thought No Doubt was l-a-m-e.  Gwen Stefani has spent the last how many years turning into a fashion doll, and we're now supposed to believe that she's really the same girl who wore wife beaters and Dickies all those years ago?  It really bugged me.

I think one of the things AI is missing is a behind the scenes show, you know, like one of those ITV3 X Factor Xtras type thing. We don't see very much of the AI Contestants behind the stage persona, and I think we are really not getting into the contestants much. Last year they had Cat Deeley doing some kind of behind the scenes stuff, it was naff, but better than nothing at all.

Sorry, Stacey, but I completely agree. I've never been a No Doubt fan though and I think that Gwen Stefani is a poseur and always has been. Her and Paula should've done a duet.

I think Gwen can be a posseur! I think most of the boys are for real, crazy as ever!!! Sometimes it's just to put on.  But I LOVE their music!! 

I think running around the stage like a fool can make ANYONE sound out of breath.  I'm just impressed they didn't lip-synch like EVERYONE else does!!!!

I thought it was just me.  She did sound out of breath.  I know I would be grabbing my knees at the end of the song if I had to run around like her and sing at the same time.

I agree about No Doubt. I'm a bit of a Gwen fan in that she's different from the rest of the well-known female singers out there. But that performance was pretty dire.

I don't know. I see him as one of those precocious annoying "performers" in one of the shows at Disney.

I missed the show, so I can't say anything about No Doubt's performance, but I'm with Stacey on this one. You don't diss Gwen!!
