I went to high school with Cheri from Punky Brewster (Her name IRL is Cherie).

I went to high school with Billy Miller who is a tight end for the Saints (#83).

When I worked at Office Depot a hundred years ago, Nicky Six (Motley Crue) went through my line.

I've run into Heather Locklear more times than I can count, but I do clearly remember once at Johnny Rockets (she's really short and clearly is airbrushed a lot).

Keyshawn Johnson (retired NFL) used to spend a lot of time on my floor in college as his baby mama lived down the hall.

My BF was Kobe Bryant's personal assistant for a hot minute. She also used to work for Death Row records so she knew all of them.

Hubby has a ton. He used to hang out with Usher, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, and some other people when he lived in Atlanta. Usher and Ludacris hadn't had their big break yet (Usher had a couple of CDs out but not as huge as he later became).

I have others but I can't remember. Clearly, I live in and near LA.

I would imagine that it happens a lot in that area.

I forgot to add that we met "The chairman" from Iron Chef America (Mark) at Chuck E Cheese during my son's 1st b-day.  Really nice guy!

They've been filming a lot in and around Boston lately.  They were setting up all kinds paraphernalia as I got off the subway the other day.  My boss said it was for Ben (Affleck).
Tuesday as we were coming back from lunch there was more lights, wires, etc. all over the street and a sort of trailer to provide for two loos.  Both were occupied so we were joking around about how we should hang out until someone came out and get their picture.  Well, you know it would only be a techie but it sounded like a good idea at the time.

At Chuck E Cheese of all places. So Random!

One of my really good friends uncle is Billy Warlock from Baywatch (Eddie) and General Hospital (A.J.). He once took my friend and I out to dinner to Bobby Salazar's when we were kids :). His Dad (friends Grandpa) is Dick Warlock a Hollywood stunt man Best known for being Michael Myers in the Halloween movies.

I've also met Trent Tomlinson (for all you country music fans) after he played a show  in Tucson and got a picture with him.

Most recently while in Manchester with my hubby's aunt and uncle I was forced into taking a picture with some old man who is in Cornation street or Eastenders or one of those soaps. I don't know his name but I'll find out when hubby gets home.

VA Beach area gets a load of stars...I've run into Chris Brown, Missy Elliot and Timberland there (as in random sightings of them walking down the street).  Most of the "locals" leave them be since they are in their home towns.  Anthony Clark's parents went to my church so he would stop in a few times a year.

My favorite one is Julia Child, who was a close friend of my grandmother's (and yes, Grandma is portrayed in Julie & Julia!)... I had dinner at her house once, the day after Thanksgiving so - believe it or not - we had leftovers!

I live in DC where there are celebs (mostly politicians and newspeople) everywhere, esp. if you look for them (e.g., Eliot Spitzer, Alan Greenspan, Chris Matthews, Colin Powell, Ralph Nader, Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich... yawn). But I think it's particularly odd that I have seen Icelandic singer Bjork in public not once but twice: once in the Dallas airport, and once in DC, in front of the Mayflower Hotel (where Eliot Spitzer was humiliated!).

Now, that's one I am envious of!! My friend once saw Julia hopping over a fence coming out of Savenor's.

Let's see:

In New Zealand: I was an extra in An Angel at my Table; I went on a gameshow (Wheel of Fortune), didn't win a thing so will skip quickly over that one; I was interviewed on the news as a co-organiser of a Reclaim the Night event. The guy who interviewed me is now on CNBC (Alex de Jong); Kevin Sorbo lived down the road from me when he was in NZ filming Xena Warrior Princess; Met a few NZ celebs you probably won't have heard of and had my bottom groped by one of them.

In UK: I was an unpaid extra in Paradise Postponedwhen scenes were filmed at my 6th form college; My friend's dad was a producer at Decca Records and was the person responsible for turning down the Beatles; ex-bf was best mates with Marianne Faithful's son, although i never did meet him; ex-bf's other best mate was son of the actress who played the sex change guy in The New Statesman (and I did meet her a couple of times and ate her home made soup!); Been out on the town with Melvyn Bragg's daughter; Bumped into a fair few celebs over the years incl. Peter Cooke, Billy Connolly, Pete Burns,  Bjork, Jon Moss, Moira Stuart, Charles Dance, John Hurt, John Hannah; Ben Chaplin tried to chat me up;

Cool!  And the eating of leftovers warms my heart.  :)

Shahbanou, how do you meet so many celebrities?

I dunno! I didn't even think there were that many til I wrote them down - and a lot were just sightings, not meetings although John Hannah did turn round when I exclaimed "oh my goddddd John Hannah."

Oh, and I missed out stood in line at the movies behind actor Martin Henderson. Oh and I met another actor whose name I forget but he was a main character in Lord of the Rings. I went to view a flat in Auckland and he was there viewing it at the same time.

Ok I'll shut up now.

A friend and I saw Anne Heche at a renaissance faire in NY state, this was the third time said friend had run into her (once at a dance class in NYC and once walking with Ellen DeGeneres when she was filming the Love Letter).

My Grandma served pizza to Micky Dolenz from the Monkees in about 1981 or so.

I was browsing in the gift shop of Alice Cooperstown in Phoenix about ten years ago when Alice himself walked in.

Another friend was in line behind Peter Jurasik from Babylon 5 at a sub shop in Atlanta (this was during Dragon*Con).

Most of my other brushes with celebrities were at signings or conventions so don't really count (though Chloe Annett from Red Dwarf did hug me once and another friend has played pool against Norman Lovett, oh and John Lenahan ate our chips).
