Doctors or walk-in clinics??
« on: January 21, 2009, 11:59:21 AM »
Would anybody suggest or recommend a walk-in clinic or doctor? Pref. one I can get in ASAP?  Yesterday and today I haven't been able to go to work because of a sore throat that is now bright red in the back! I just moved to London 3 weeks ago so I dont know what to do.

http://www.nhs.uk

Click on 'find services' at the top, that can give you contact details for your nearest GP (or walk in centre, or pharmacy, or dentist... etc.)

Definitely register with a GP as soon as you can. Since you're not already registered somewhere, though, you may find it quicker to go to a walk in centre this time around to get your sore throat looked at.

I was a lazy bugger and hadn't registered with a GP and I got a nasty infection. I called up and they gave me an emergency appointment and told me I could just fill out the paperwork before the appointment. So you may try that route too.
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

You're stuck with me!
