When they launched Alli in the US they started a message board, there were lots of crazy suggestions for how to handle the discharge.

So what were the best tried and true methods? I mean, we've already gone there, so spill what you know!  ;)

If I'm being honest, me too!  But, I'm not taking any pills that could cause ars* leakage whilst eating it! :)

I think that explains it all!  You are meant to eat a low fat diet whilst on the medication.

She did most of the time but lets face it, everyone has an off day whilst on a diet.  Even on her low fat diet she "leaked" a lot though.  So nasty.

It's Xenical at a reduced dosage.

Been there... done this.. and you DON'T want to take this pill!!!!

I ate something one time with what I thought had the minimalist of fat in it and OH BOY the reaction!!

SOO not worth it!

I did this too. One bagel with low-fat creamcheese later (while away from a toilet) and that was the end of that experiment.
And if you threw a party

along those same lines, did anyone ever try the WOW chips made with inverted fat (I think)?  I think they came in different varieties.  I only tried them once.  On the way home from the grocery store.  Almost didn't make it.  I couldn't figure out what had happened until I read the bag and it said there could be some 'urgency'.  No kidding!  I threw out the remainder and have feared them ever since.

Good grief, man. That stuff should be banned!
I think I would rather have a chippie without suffering the consequences.  :-X

I tried those chips with Olestra in them, I think that's the same thing. They never bothered me, but I heard there were a lot of people who had problems from eating them.

I didn't have this problem with Olestra. I just thought it tasted awful. :)

Actaully, when I was leaving I started seeing Lays non-fat chips (as in crisps) that actually tasted like the real thing. They weren't the baked variety either. I absolutely loved them but they disappeared rather quickly and I never saw them again. Pity. :(

Hmmm... never tried those, but they sound good. I have never really liked the baked chips. Kind of sucks my joy away. I'd just rather have the real thing now and again than eat more of the tasteless baked stuff.

Yeah that's why I liked them -- they tasted exactly like the real thing and not like cardboard which is what baked lays taste like to me.

I know, what's the point? It would be better to eat some celery or something with some flavour and nutrition than those nasty baked things, if you are trying to be healthy. It's kind of like reduced fat peanut butter -it's just unnatural! Some things are supposed to be fatty and delicious....  :P

Why do I see our future as visions of Wall-E, all of us floating around in our easy chairs, fat as a house, entertainment made by TV alone, liquid chocolate, everything done by robots...
Humans are lazy. Lifestyle changes are hard. Magic pills are easy!!
Maybe that will be a new fashion statement, rubber underwear so that it can collect our *explosions*
Ha
I've never gotten food on my underpants!
