Taking classes in the UK
« on: January 23, 2009, 04:57:23 PM »
I am wanting to take two classes while in the UK that I did not take while completing my undergrad degree in the US. Does anyone know if this is possible (either on a student visa or on a visitor student visa) and where I could take a few classes rather than an entire course/degree?? I am looking for a microbiology class and a physiology class, both with a lab option.

thanks!

You should be able to do so under the visiting student option, but you can only remain in the UK for up to 6 months.  I believe most people who come over as exchange students for a term come under this visa.

Will your study be 15 hours per week total?
