Tax season yet again. I am trying to organize my taxes for 2008. I got married in the UK in 2008. I am a US citizen and my wife English. Was wondering if any one knows if i can claim her as my dependent (which she is) if she doesn't have a green card or SSN?

See FAQ on the US Embassy website (Internal Revenue):

"I am a U.S. citizen married to a nonresident alien. Can I claim an exemption for each of us?

Yes, provided the NRA spouse did not have any income from U.S. sources and he or she has been issued an ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number)."
