For a moment of comic relief: three packs of Walgreens facial tissues are AWOL.

If the lotion's missing... well, I don't really want to go there, do I?   :P

Throw it out anyway!! you don't want a something about Mary moment!  ;)

Well I am glad you can make light of it a little...

Isn't it odd what people snoop at...what sad charecters these people are and obviously have very small lives.  At least we can laugh at how dumb they are.. :)

Let us know how the police visit got on...

I just started reading this thread today, but what a bunch of weirdos you live in a building with.  Anyway, I'm really sorry.  I have no advice, but I'd probably just keep phoning the police whenever something goes missing to keep them on top of it.  I hope you can find a way to get out of the contract soon.  I'd so try to catch someone on camera and turn that over to the police, but that's just me.

I am not so sure on the photo evidence thing.  I think it may be dismissed as the snoopers could easily say that they were lured into the apartment and it may get discredited  :-\\\\ also I suspect they will claim some form of "privacy invasion" law themselves...

I don't see why there should be a legal problem with someone having a camera inside their own home for security purposes.

I just dont feel that the evidence is strong enough by itself.

I am assuming that the plan isn't to get this woman arrested, just for them to be allowed to leave their contract early without financial penalty.  In which case, if the keyholder is spotted snooping and nicking things, and is a friend of the landlady, I'd say video evidence would be plenty to get her to do what they want.

You know this could be great evidence if this is found in her house.  I don't think there is a Walgreens in England ( I could be wrong ) and I would like her to show he plane tickets from when she bought it  ;)

Heheh, brilliant - great forensic reasoning!

This thread had been oddly compelling up to this point, but there is no going back now!
