How do I go about getting a provisional license?

No worries  .  Yes, you have to pay by credit card if you use the online form.  Once it all goes through, you have 21 days to mail everything.

Not unusual for DVLA.  You can speak to two different people an hour apart and be told two completely conflicting things.   

lol ok all done and all paperwork will be sent in first thing in the morning:)  It does make me laugh a little that I am completely ignoring all the warnings that say you must have photo signed there were like 3!!! But I'm sure it will be fine, and if for some reason I get a difficult person that thinks I need a signature they will simply ask for one no big deal:)  Thanks for all the help! It's one less thing now

So did you get yours all OK without having them signed? I need to do this, so just curious if it worked for you with unsigned photos.

I remember her mentioning in another thread that everything was fine and she got her license within a week.  Same thing happened to me.  The pictures really don't need to be signed, as long as you're submitting your passport as ID.

sorry hun I didn't see the question:) Ya everything was great no questions asked and I got all my stuff back within a week with my new licence! Don't know why I didn't need a signature but it worked out.  It was very easy!
