I wanted to relay my experience here, in hopes that it will help someone.
I just got back from a Rheumatoid Specialist, who spent an incredibly informative and detailed HOUR (can you believe THAT??) with me to discuss my joint aches and pains and fatigue. [It really was surreal to have that much of a doctor's undivided attention!

He ended up putting me on a course of antibiotics to treat Lyme Disease. I was tested for Lyme disease a few weeks ago, and it came back negative. However, he informed me that
this test is not considered accurate. According to him, people often come in with
textbook Lyme Disease symptoms - and still test negative.
So, just an FYI.
