An abomination that is.

Yeah, that is terrible. I would kill for some of those Hebrew National all beef hot dogs with spicy mustard and sauerkraut...  :\\\'(

I can't help you with the spicy mustard, but there are all-beef kosher hot dogs available here.

Well, sometimes Tesco carries the spicy brown mustard, I always buy a handful of them, and Costco have hot dogs that are pretty close to Hebrew National, but from my experience, they are always better served by an elderly Jewish Man...

My dad used to take me to Katz' Deli in Downtown NY when I was a kid pretty much every weekend....nothing compares to those knockworst we used to get!

What are the brand names and where do you find them? The ones in the jars here don't really compare.

Chicago's Best. Not cheap, but when that occasional craving hits...  They are kosher all-beef.

The only hot dog related product that's meant to be served in cans are vienna sausages.

Oh, those Chicago Best Hot Dogs are the ones they sell at Costco, and they are SOOOO much cheaper at Costco, I don't know exactly how much, but they are under £3....I always have those in the house. Love them!

the whole machatunim

LOL!

I took my, very Swedish looking, DH there years ago and made him ask for mayo for my corned beef sandwich because I didn't want them to judge me.  ;D

We eat Herta brand Frankfurters here and love them. You can get them at Tesco and Sainsburys that I know in the sliced meat section. They are packaged just like ones in the US (no jars!)

What brand? I've been really craving this lately (pastrami on rye, actually) and haven't been happy with any of the mustards I've seen.
Another shameless promotion for www.mclevey.com, the best place on the internet to buy art.

Those are great if you're craving a dirty water dog. And get Herta specifically. The other brands, especially store brands, are just not as good, in my humble opinion.

OMG a dirty water dog! Herta are good for kids, but they are nowhere near as good quality and taste as a Chicago's best dawg. I wish I had one now!!!

YES YES YES! I FOUND MY PERFECT PICKLES!

No vinegar, just water, dill, salt, garlic and sugar.

Excuse me while I stuff my face. :)
