Just those, if you're looking for something sans vinegar. The rest have it.

Unfortunatly they only deliver to London and surrounding area.

I saw some Polish dill cucumbers in Morrison's yesterday, checked the ingredients and no sugar. They were with all the other pickles.

If you are in Edinburgh or Glasgow...Lupe Pintos (www.lupepintos.com) has Vlasics, expensive but it's safe to assume that you all are in the same boat as me.  Hell, people spend more on less.  Hey look, it looks like they deliver anywhere in mainland UK.

Bye kindred pickle spirits

I saw these at my local polish shop yesterday, I would guess that its a mainstay of Polish supermarkets, and probably available everywhere!

I wish that were true! For some reason, all the Polish supermarkets within my easy-get-to, don't have the kind I like.

UPDATE!!!!!!

Yesterday, I was perusing pickles at Sainsbury's. I generally get whatever I can stomach because Adam likes having them around, regardless.

I looked at the own brand ones. One was labelled as 'in sweet vinegar' and the other was labelled as 'in vinegar'.

Bought the plain vinegar kind (79p a jar) and they are good. VERY sour. (Though, really, in the states, they'd be a half-sour, I think.)

I've found a passable pickle!

Man, this thread is making me crave/miss/want some giant whole dill pickles.

Oh no-o-o-o-o...

I think the closest thing is the pickles at Subway. Man, I miss pickles... ala Americana!

The Sainsbury's own brand ones are similar to these, only a bit more sour and whole pickles instead of slices.

I'm a big fan of whole pickles... I love to take a big bite of a pickle!

I don't have a Sainsbury's at all near me, but I do work in Manchester... so I may have to pay them a visit after work...

I know the feeling.  There's a girl that works in the Subway near me that gives me a small container of pickle slices with my sandwich.  I think she probably thinks I'm a bit nutty, but that is the only time I get pickles.  Every jar I've bought have been sweet.  Blech.  I'll have to try the Sainsbury's ones over the weekend.
