Does anyone have any recommendations for footware for men that keep their feet dry in the winter.

Wellies are too cumbersome but they would be good in floods.

Is the footware in the US better? I would think they would be the same is available both places.

Boots from a Military surplus store are always good.  :)

Are you looking for shoe covers for dress / work shoes or just everyday work boots / waterproof shoes?

I know my dad uses rubber covers for his work shoes, that way he doesn't have to change shoes when he gets to work.  I can ask him where he got his since he's in the states.   ;)

My 2 cents...Gortex....is perfect...and expensive. If you have the money... try rangerjoes.com or Cabelas... otherwise....Boots made by Danner or Magnum are great! They run about 40 vs 100+ at the other two.

I always used spray-on waterproofer on my boots.
If we called them Sad Meals, no one would buy them.

I was able to buy some "galoshes" (rubber overshoes) from Target about 10 years ago but my MIL threw them away when we were moving. Maybe they can still be bought in other parts of the country.

Reasonable price

But this store have loads, I got some Berghaus Gore-tex walking boots a couple of years ago for £50 which were reduced from £120. They are excellent and didn't even need breaking in before a 15 mile hike!

I always thought galoshes were Wellies.   ;D

We used to use Duck Boots for camping and in winter when I was growing up (yes I know these are women's boots in the listing).  Very wet resistant.  Here's a link to them for sale on eBay.  You can get an idea of brands there...
