LOST fans ... Anyone left??? [Warning: spoilers]

I seem to be the only one that didn't like the episode.  I found it cheesy at best.

Yes. He's a kinder, gentler megalomaniac.

Lol, but thats whats so great about him (and the actor playing him obviously) he really really gets some empathy at times, sometimes you believe him, other times you don't. He is brilliant.

See? I got the idea that Ben stopped short when he saw Charlie, Desmond defended them, and Ben swam off to catch his flight. I didn't get the feeling he came back out of the water to finish what he started. I think the, "Tell Desmond I'm sorry," was for even trying. 

I think it's setting up for a whammy. They always lull into a false security. And we never saw what happened after Ben hit the water or how he injured his arm (as someone asked him in the show..) don't think it's over yet.....  Wanting to say sorry to Desmond for just flashing a gun at his wife doesn't really sound like Ben....but who knows? I've been wrong loads on this show!  I do love his character....  Lots of Miles on next week's episode...

...unfortunately, this makes more sense to me.  I'm gearing up to be upset for the Hume family.

I was very very naughty and went and read spoilers for the end of the season...   I cant believe the amount of people out there spying in Hawaii on filming..

See I want this to be true and thought it for a while, but I don't think it is.  It would mean that he is existing around his own past self.  Is that possible?

Isn't he the dude who was shown with the baby at the beginning of the Season? 

That would surely be interesting, but perhaps too much confusion (even for Lost) to have some characters crossing back over themselves, but not others.
However... why not?

They did it on Sliders (boy I miss that show!), but that was due to them travelling to parallel Earths, not time. So... moot point I guess. 

When Sawyer saw Claire and Kate in the forest when they went back in time, he was certainly there twice at the same moment, right?

Yes true but there is some speculation that the reason Charlotte died when the others didn't is that either 1) she spent too much time on the island previously (brain fried) or 2) that she was existing too long with her younger self in the same time.

Not so sure about #2 and am happy to go with it either way. But if Charlotte died because she had already been on the island before (for a while), why would that not also apply to Miles.

I don't really know though.  I still would think it would be cool.  Though you would wonder why his parents don't question why an older version of their baby is hanging about.
