FLR(M), still waiting

Has anyone had any joy with their FLR(M) lately?  We sent ours on the 31st of October (received by UKBA 3rd November) and still nothing.  Am desperate for my passport.  Any commiseration welcome or suggestions for cheering up during long Scottish winter. 

Am also happy to discuss folly of biometric identity documents with anyone who'd like to listen.

As per your previous post, I think that the switches are taking longer.

I accept why I'm waiting (work visa to work visa), I just wanted to reach out to anyone in a similar situation.  Surely I'm not the only one that's waiting this long?!!

No, you are not, but there really is nothing that can be done.

Perhaps I have my post in the wrong place then.  I know that there is nothing that can be done!  I just wanted to reach out to see if anyone else had gotten theirs yet, or what the general waiting times looked like.  Isn't that the point of this?  Reaching out?  You don't have to tell me how helpless I am!

I think you just posted in the wrong location on this board.  The visa section is for people looking for advice on applying for visas that sort of thing. 

You need um, chit chat maybe?   Not everyone reads here so you might not get lots of support in this particular location, not that you won't get it elsewhere on here.   

I just wanted to know if anyone had gotten theirs back lately...that's all...
