I like Rum & Diet Coke.  Somehow, in my mind, the Diet Coke helps erase the calories.  I don't buy very expensive rum because once you mix it with coke or pepsi it's all a bit crap anyway.  Hmmm...this is more of an admission than a recommendation.

I'm not a spirit drinker myself, but I've always got a soft spot for a deep, red Burgundy.

Usually a dry white or red wine, but I also love heavy dark beers like Guinness, and I recently discovered Worthingtons at my local watering hole, and I love it. It's like Boddingtons, but better, IMO.

Vodka and Diet Coke. It's all I ever drink but it can be deadly because it's not until you're so out of your head drunk that you realise your drunk. It sort of sneaks up on you.

But it's good and has the least calories out of all the spirits.

Oh, and most of the girls in this village drink cider and black (black currant, that is, but you just order it as a cider and black, they put the syrup in your cider). It's not for me, but they seem to like it a lot.

Either Absolut or Chopin vodka and soda or with a bit of fresh lemon juice neat.

Gallons and gallons of water during the day, but if we go out, I tend to drink a lot of different things. Sometimes it'll just be fizzy water, other times house white wine, but every now and then I'll have a Southern Comfort or Sailor Jerry's and coke.

I kinda fell out of the habit of drinking when I was losing weight and I no longer feel any pressure to have something alcoholic when we go out...
