I spent the day with my friends, and my kids, and my friends' kids, at the Prinknash Abbey Bird and Deer Park.  It was really nice.  :)

There's something great about having kids who are old enough and responsible enough that I can just relax and hang out with my friends.

Today it was sunny so...

I put on my shades and sat in the back garden! 8) It was lovely until I found myself fighting off all the wasp buzzing around trying to feed on me. Plus I got a really bad sunburn.  :(

Yesterday it was sunny so I mowed the lawn.  :P

Today if it stays sunny I'm hoping to go for a long walk.  :)

I'm sitting in the garden watching Josh run around!  Might go in to get the bubbles one last time.

I took my daughter to the park.  My kids gave the guinea pigs a bath in a plastic tub in our garden.

I had a very girlie day on my own--haven't had one of those in years!  I went into the city centre and bought hairclips, nail polish, eyeliner and lipstick and went into an adorable boutique and tried on dresses (I've a wedding coming up).

Today was sunny so I got all depressed cause it'll probably be the last warm sunny day in months. :(

sigh.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

Today it was sunny so I went to the Botanic Gardens in Glasgow and wandered around.  Surprisingly, many things were still in bloom!  Also, while I was perusing one of the glasshouses, I saw a carnivorous plant called a Pitcher Plant eat a bee.

The weather here was just gorgeous today!  8)

We went on a walk in this little wood, not far from Ripon, including various Victorian-era folly ruins - amazing!

Wow... that looks beautiful. I miss walking in the woods. I should come up for a walk with you guys sometime!  :)

Yesterday (because today is definitely not sunny!) we washed our car for the first time in 1 1/2 years!  :o Man, it seriously needed it and we had fun spraying each other with the hose, too.  ;D

You should!  I'll let you know when Steve puts the photos up (from yesterday) - although there are a few new pics he took in our garden this weekend:
