If it is OK (doesn't even need to be sunny), I might walk home today - I think it's 5 - 6 miles?, as I have not ben to the gym in a fortnight with infections and injuries and whatnot. I am feeling very unfit!

Lovely!  It was not sunny here at all--not even for a moment.  :(

I mowed the back yard.  It's supposed to rain later tonight, and tomorrow morning, so it needed to be done before then.

I went for a short drive (still building my UK driving confidence even though I finally have my licence now - I don't drive that frequently), to take the glass recycling (a whole car boot full!  :-[) to the collection point & to fill up the car with petrol - too exciting, I know!  :P

Also, I have some laundry hanging out on the clothesline today, in the sunshine, which just pleases me to no end!  Laundry is a chore I don't really mind doing in the overall scheme of things, and being able to hang it out on a sunny, mostly clear, chilly (but not cold) day tells me that spring/summer has to be on its way.  :)

We've had several sunny days in a row here!  Yay!

I've had my washing on the line, and my daughter was thrilled that it wouldn't be raining for her school "wilderness" trip.

having the day off, I went into town and bought myself some trainers for work, some nice heels/court shoes for being dressy, and a "pay as you go"mobile from T-mobile with a £10 credit added to it. Now, if I can just sort out a hand bag that I actually like, life will be complete. :D

So many days of SUN!  Spring must really be here.  :)

People are mowing their lawns, putting out their hanging baskets, washing their windows.

I've been, er, walking and playing in the park and letting my guinea pigs be my lawnmowers?  Over the weekend I actually sat outside in our garden and read a book.  Heaven!

Jean and I stopped at a local park on the way home so she could have a ride on the swings and play on the slide  :)
