Maybe you could get a couple sheep?  :D

We'd only need one really! :) We don't have that big a garden.  I don't think our landlord would like it though.  :P

Today it is gorgeous and I was really expecting rain all day!  My plan was to do lots of cooking and cleaning, but I may have to postpone that and take a nice walk along the canal instead!

Yes!  Yes!  Go for a walk!  Only clean when it rains, and even then only if you're not in the middle of a great book.

Unfortunately I am at home cleaning nail varnish off the carpet. I had to do it on an nice day so I could leave the windows open to get rid of the stink.

Yep, you're absolutely right--time for a walk!

I dragged DH out with me for a 5 mile walk.  Had a nice chat and saw some lovely wildlife-a swan sitting on a nest, some deer, and plump lambs with their Mummys.

I went for a quick 2.5 mile jog on the disused railway line path behind our flat. Unfortunately in addition to being sunny, it was also very buggy, but still lovely to be out in the sunshine.

Walked home from work!  (that was yesterday)

Today it is sunny but cool and I think I will likely try to take a walk at lunchtime.

Yesterday we went for a long walk in the woods.  It was magical.  Like a fairy forest.  The springgreen leaves were luminescent and the foliage wasn't thick enough to block out the light yet.  The ground was a carpet of wild garlic and bluebells.  We didn't want to step off the narrow path of already-crushed blossoms.

We went out to dinner at a new (to us) pub, on the recommendation of a friend.  We ate outside on the terrace overlooking a field with horses and with a view down into the valley.  Our meals were delicious.  It was the kind of day to make me think I never want to live anywhere else.  :)

We went to an apple orchard to see the blossoms, had a nice walk, took a few gorgeous pictures, petted a pig (not a Mexican one  ;D), bought some cider, drove through the countryside with the windows down, then came home.

Beautiful!

We went to the Yorkshire sculpture park.  The place is ginormous.  I liked some of the sculptures (We only saw a fraction of the park), but the place just made me tired.  I'm not really a fan to be honest.

After dinner we walked to a new-to-us pub in our area and sat outside and ended up meeting up with an ex of my hubby's and her new fiance--it was actually really nice!
