Chary, I think we are getting married on the same day!  8)

I haven't really decided what shoes I am wearing.  I have only just ordered my dress.  I get the feeling I should have done more by now...

Yes, we are getting married on the same day!  ;D

I had to go for my first measurement, etc. for the dress back in January and it won't be ready until mid-May, but all places are different. Don't worry!

What about these.

Or this pair.

A completely flat sandal

A pair of dyables!

The first ones and the dyables are OK ... but nothing special, you know? I kind of want something prettier without being too fussy. I know I'm asking for a lot. Sorry!

The flat ones are way too flat for me, and the heels on the second ones are over 3"! But I'll keep the others in mind. Thanks a bunch!  :)

Chary, is there anyone in the US who could receive a delivery and mail it to you?  Because there are some cute shoes from Chinese Laundry

I've seen some others I don't mind in the US, but there's no time for posting now. My fault for leaving it too late.  :(

I can bring them back at the end of April.  If you get desperate!  More then happy to!

I wore some weddingy shoes to my ceremony, but changed into pink platform flipflops for the reception ;D  (I wanted to be comfortable and no one saw them anyway since my dress was to the floor ;))

Aw, thanks, Stacey! But I think I'll need them before then. Sigh ... stupid shoes.

I don't want to change into flipflops or anything flatter because then the dress will be too long and it'll get it all icky.   :-\\\\

Right, you need them for your fittings, don't you.

My flip flops were platforms, about 2 1/2 to 3 inches high. (classy, I know, but comfortable)

I think I'd rather go for something really comfy that's closer to 2" and just stay in one pair the whole time.

How do you feel about something glittery?.  Or sparkly?

I'm certainly not opposed to a little bling! And I really love those first ones - can't believe they're only £20! But because the dress is cream/coffee-ish, I don't think silver will work with it.

OK. I think I've very nearly given up on sandals because all the strappy shoes seem to be skyscraperingly high!

I've got it narrowed down to these 5:

Shoe #1: Bodini
Shoe #2: Fiore
Shoe #3: Carlu
Shoe #4: Powell
Shoe #5: Bonnie

The last pair are the only sandals, but they have 2 1/2" heels, so I'm a little unsure. Any thoughts? Votes? Anything people hate?

I like Carlu! Isn't the cost of wedding shoes outrageous?? I wouldn't mind if I knew I was going to wear them multiple times, but 100 quid for one day!? *sigh*

I *really* like the last pair!  They're sandals, which you wanted, and I don't think the heel is too high - I am a avowed flats wearer but even I can handle a 2.5" heel. :D

I'm not a huge fan of the closed toe ones, really - both because they're closed-toe, and because I have a thing against pointy-toed shoes (which is obviously my own personal preference, rather than a reason for you not to buy them!).

Now that I'm looking at pics of the dress more, I'm wondering if the diamante bits (on most of the shoes I liked to) aren't a bit too much. The dress is more of a warm colour than that and would look better with pearls rather than sparkle. I'm starting to think maybe plain satin shoes with no sparkly bits would be better. Honestly, you can drive yourself MAD thinking about this stuff.
