online spousal visa application timing

can i pay for and print the online application before we get married for the spousal visa as i need to get the biometrics done -- and so i need to make an appointment. I thought, pay, print, put in docs (except marriage license and add that immediately after it is filed in georgia) -- then send to courier.

or do i have to wait until we are married? and start the process then.

Yes you can.  Your application date is the day your documents arrive at the consulate.  Remember, though, that you only have 2 weeks after your biometrics are done to get the documents mailed.
