Well, my FIL did my blood pressure and pulse the other day, and now I'm very aware of it and kind of worried. My blood pressure was slightly low, which is normal for me. But my resting heartrate was 90! And i've checked it at my most relaxed the last couple of days and It's always so high. I'm worried. My heart rate was always on the low side. I have called my nurse, bc this could be a reaction to my medication, but I can't get ahold of her. But I know that this combination can mean very bad news...

Hey love, been thinking about this, isn't normal heart rate between 60 and 80? I believe that  if your blood pressure is low your body will counterbalance and raise your heart rate, I know when I was ill my heart rate more than doubled as I was on steroids. I don't think you're classed as tachycardic until you're over 110.

What I'm saying is, please relax as I'm sure it's nothing, but good to get checked out anyway :)

Yeah normal is between 60 and 80 but mine has always been around 60 or even below normal, in addition to low blood pressure. So I'm just concerned because for me that is very high. I'm just waiting to hear back and trying not to worry. That won't solve anything, it'll only make it worse.   Thanks everyone for the good vibes.  :-*

I'm really sorry pb. Cancer is a horrible thing. I hope he can fight it. :(    An update on me- The problem seems to have resolved itself. I just clocked my heart rate at 67. It had been steadily falling for days. Other symptoms I associated with it (not sleeping through the night, dizziness) seem to have gone with it. My nurse has been away, so I will have to speak to her tomorrow, but I think it will be fine. :) Thanks to everyone for your concern. I really appreciate having somewhere to share these things.  :-*
