Midnight,

Chin up gurl!

I've been through the 'let go' thing a few times and I'm always able to look back and say "it was a blessing in disguise"

You needed to get away from that situation.

There good things waiting for you out there.

Thanks Jim, sarahjoyhappy, Vicky and BostonDiner for the kind thoughts and help. Means a lot to me right now!  :-*

Yes, I'm better off out of this -- there is a certain relief factor. Just hoping I can find something else very soon, fingers crossed.

On top of all this -- I'm taking my driving practical test tomorrow! :o Really didn't need all this on my plate right now. But like they say, whaddyagonna-do? Just grit my teeth and pray for no roundabouts, lol.

Midnight,

I was just reading the local job board and they have a listing for a nanny. Thats the good news.

The bad news. Too long a commute from London.

My little sister called me at 2 am this morning and told me her husband Paul has had a stroke. He is only 40. At that time she didn't know how bad it was. Will call her when it is a decent time and find out what is happening.

I am so sorry...I know that if it was me, no matter what time it was I'd love to hear from my near and dear in my time of need...don't put it off until later, I'd call now...because later could be too late...Healing prayers for your BIL.

I'm so sorry to hear about your BIL, MeShell.  *hugs*  Fingers crossed for a full and speedy recovery.

This has been a really sh*t week for me as well as my nearest and dearest.  Our car window was smashed in and our car burgled on Tuesday night, my best friend here in the UK is 32 weeks pregnant and going though some awful turmoil in her marriage, and Friday night my parents' sweet kitty, Millie, was attacked in their own back yard by a coon dog who broke her back - she had to be put to sleep early yesterday.   :\\\'(

hugs to you, what a terrible week! And to you and your family MeShell. 40 seems so young! How awfully frightening for your sister.

Thank everyone...she is getting it sorted slowly...the doctors in the podunk town they live in kept thinking it was his heart...but he is having a C-scan today.

BUT........my favorite BIL in Houston is having open heart surgery tomorrow.....seems he has 90% blockage in his major artery to his heart. Didn't find this out till last night....

and my iron level has fallen again........it's almost to 10 so had to be given new medicine yesterday....if they keep falling will have to have iron transfusions..doesn't sound nice at all!

Webyj...when I said I would call at a decent time I ment cause of the time difference I didn't want to wake them up if they were sleeping cause I knew they would be shattered.... ;D I called them as soon as I knew she might be awake.
