Thanks for the support, everyone. My GP didn't want to switch the antibiotics since I am preparing for surgery, but has given me something to ease my stomach pain and nausea, so hopefully that will help. I feel better today, so I think it is helping already!

(((HUGS))) to you and your DH, PL.  :-*

Thanks, Jewlz. :-* And I'm glad to hear you're starting to feel better.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Sorry to hear about that, PB.

There are entirely too many Worse Than IAs going on right now & I don't like it.  >:(

A good friend of mine is hurting right now over some stuff along these lines & I know there's nothing I can do to change it.  :\\\'(

Not as serious as others but it's worse than an IA for me.

I spoke to my mother yesterday to give her the news about our visa interview and she relayed that my father has been diagnosed with the early stages of Alzheimer's (he's 73). She then told me that she had an accident in the garage last week where she tripped & fell into the garage door and has a 10cm gash on her forehead that needed 40 stitches to close. She didn't want to tell me because she knew I would worry.

I really need to get home.  :\\\'(

PB: That's awful  :\\\'( I can only imagine how hard this must be hitting your office. How many people have died or lost loved ones in the last 6 months? 4 or 5, isn't it?

WJ:  :( I'm sorry to hear about your father. That definitely sounds like worse than an IA to me.

Thanks BD & everyone...It's hard watching your parents age, especially when we're so far away.

But you're right about my mom, she's tough as nails and accident prone of late it seems.  :-\\\\
