This is such a sad thread.   :\\\'(

Sarah and PrincessLemons, I'm really sorry for your loss.

Persephone, I know it must be so hard to be far away from your Dad right now.  Big hugs.

Thanks, everyone. He actually passed away last night, and we found out around noon today. I left work early to get back and get everything sorted, and they're all on their way.
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Many hugs PL and SJH.  *hugs* *hugs* *hugs* *hugs*

I've just gotten out of A&E.   :\\\'(

Have continued to not be able to keep anything down... DH took me to A&E and we were there for almost the whole night while they gave me IV fluids and medicine.  Need to sort out a specialist, and in the mean time, will have to return to the hospital for IV hydration and medication until I can tolerate liquids and pills by mouth.  (am not even thinking about solid food at this point)

My former specialist in the US told me that if I ever got to the point of not being able to tolerate clear liquids, my options would then be tube feeding or a gastric neurostimulator (tummy pacemaker).  I'm not too keen on either of those options.   :\\\'(

Yikes Aquila!  I'm sorry, I must have missed what you are suffering from.  Whatever it is, I hope you get to where you can tolerate some nourishment!

Feel better soon Aquila, that sounds awful.  PL, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thanks for all the well wishes.  I'm really crossing my fingers that March is better than February for Worse than an IA.  Boo Feb!
