My boss got a facebook and called to find out how to add me so she can see all the wedding pics AND so she can see all my new pics from when I move to the UK - no b*tching about work...All the work people are freaking out as they dont want her on their page!

I think you can adjust how much of your profile she's capable of seeing.

Thanks for the good vibes here regarding my kitty.

I dragged my dog back down here to NC to get his teeth cleaned and run some errands myself, and who shows up the minute we pull into the driveway? My kitty!!!

He was highly indignant that he'd been "forced" to be outside that long, and very eager for attention. He looks like he's lost a bit of weight but otherwise is in good shape.

So happy to have him back safe and sound! Now to break the news to him that he's officially an indoor-only kitty from now on... ;)

He cried the entire 4 1/2 hour drive up here (which drove me nuts), and seems to be having some upset tummy issues (probably from no food for 3 weeks), but so far, so good. My parents' pets are all completely wigging out over the new kitty, so the transition should be interesting.

Much better than the alternative, though! Thanks for all the good wishes. :)

Of Course he was giving you the what for!

Glad to hear it all worked out. When my cat was missing for 9 weeks he was having some tummy issues as well. The vet said to just give him small amounts of wet food frequently (every couple of hours as it's easier to digest) over the period of about a week and he was fine.

I'm so glad you have a happy ending! Told ya!  ;)  :)

Yay! So glad your kitty came home finally! And just in time, too!  ;D

Oddly enough, our cat Alex went missing for over 24 hours yesterday and we started to get worried (he is never away from his food bowl for very long!) DH was walking the dog last night and happened to look up at the window of this empty house under construction that had been boarded up by the builders and sees Alex in the window! So he had to scale the scaffolding and tear open some of the boards to pull him out. It was all very Pet Recue 911!  :P I'm so glad he was able to bring him home safely! He must have gone in through the chimney or something and got trapped.

Good news that "the cat came back" even if not the very next day! They usually do eventually but so worrying!

Oh, I don't blame him, I just wish kitties were a bit more...stoic...sometimes. You'd think after an hour of crying with no results, he'd give up. Being a cat, no way. ;)

Small price to pay, though.

I should try out the wet food thing...he never got it before, but the kitties here get it 2x/day so if it is easier to digest perhaps that would help. I think it was just stress more than anything, though, since he seems to be doing better now.

Jewlz - glad Alex was found! Kitties pick the strangest places to explore/get stuck.
