Why all the worry about being able to get hold of straws?  ::) Practically every supermarket sells them, so they're not hard to find - we've been buying boxes of about 200 straws from Tesco for over 20 years! The big boxes are about £1.80 or if you're feeling cheap you can buy 50 Tesco Value straws for 16p!

I don't think anyone was making that big of a deal of it, actually.  ??? It was just a discussion.

that's a good obsession to have!

Frozen waffles.

Enjoy them now, I don't think you will find them here.  :( (Though toasted crumpets with butter and maple syrup are a very nice substitute!)

Dr. Karg's organic emmental and pumpkin seed wholegrain crispbread. It's a bit like plywood, but I love it and can't stop eating it!  :P

Smoked salmon smeared with cream cheese .  Don't ask me why this has become an obsession, but it has.

i recently discovered how perfect Reggae Reggae sauce is wth hummous, why bother with the caramilised onions varirty in a small pack, just buy the big plain one, add some real olive oil, squeeze of lemon if you got it, and some jah sauce, tastes great with fresh salad and vine toms.

Tesco's Finest Coffee Ice Cream.

Oh My... I cannot explain its goodness. It is organic and fairtrade so it's priced around the same as Ben and Jerry's but SO.WORTH.IT.

It tastes like a coffee frap from starbucks. (actually, closer to a Coolata from Dunkin Donuts if anyone's had it: my fave.)

Tesco's Finest Coffee Ice Cream.

I haven't had that for a looong time, but I went through a bit of a dangerously obssessive phase with it myself! It's seriously good.

Fortunately, my current obsession - big fat juicy raspberries - is more healthy!

Lol I wish my obsession was a healthy one ;D

I only get a couple spoonfuls a couple times a day though. :) No harm. You can only taste the amazingness for the first few bites, if you know what I mean... Your mouth like, adjusts to the taste and then it's just ice cream! So luckily I only eat it in small doses. ;)

After years of neither loving nor hating it, I now can't get enough marmite on toast. I think it's probably just the salt that I'm craving.

Quavers.
And Tesco Healthy Living melba toast.  They're so good...they've got a sesame seed taste to them.  Been having them with light Dairylea.  Yum....

At least once a week I'll make guacamole and hummus (separately, of course, otherwise that would be pretty disgusting).

Ever since I left the UK I've been craving a veggie korma. I can make it, but it's not nearly as good as what I can get over there!

I make a lot of potato-ey things as well....potato salad, potato casserole, loaded baked potatoes, vegetarian shepard pie with delicious roasted garlic mash....the list could go on ( I feel kind of like the guy from Forrest Gump...hmm)

I also keep making stroganoff, its SO easy. ( 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 can of cheddar cheese soup, 1 large sour cream, 1 bag of morningstar fake ground beef stuff, mix together, season, let it simmer for a while, serve over rice....so yummy)

Since I've been unemployed I've become Betty Crocker, and I have an exciting new ten pound weight gain to show for it. 8)

Bottom line, I think all food has become my obsession.

(edited to say- Besides anything with real meat:P I'm the unhealthiest vegetarian that has ever existed)
