Apples, always apples.  Now I'm making fruit salads with different varieties of apples all cut up into little pieces.  I am weird, I know.  And as always, tomato sauce (as in pasta sauce, not ketchup).

Tom kha gai. We took a cooking class in Thailand and since we've come back we've made it like 8 times. It is sooooooo good.
I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

OMG! When can I come over for some?! I'm dying over here! I miss it so much since I moved here, I used to have it all the time at my favourite Thai place in Dallas.  :) No Asian markets around here, so I doubt I could get all the stuff to make it myself without a special trip to toon.  :(

I'm loving on Ben & Jerry's Caramel Chew Chew ice cream at the moment. It was buy one get one free at Sainsburys last week!  ;D

Any chance of getting your recipe? I've not found one that is good enough to replace my beloved Taste of Thailand's version yet.

For me it is microwave popcorn and chocolate milk. I could actually go for a chocolate covered popcorn ball...

Usually salmon on rye with herb butter and creme brulee. Drove my hubby nuts that I couldn't get enough! Plus the nearest store that carried the stuff I like is like 60 miles away!

In England it's always fish n chips and steak pies!! OOH and scones with clotted cream and jam! Can't find clotted cream here in the states besides the stuff in the jar. No thanks. When I am in the mood for scones I subsitute with mascarpone cheese and they are just as yummy.

Grapes.  Sad, I know.  But they are so juicy and refreshing!

Oh lord! I absolutelly adore Tom Ka Gai (spelling?)! It’s the best soup ever. I was on a long Thailand trip myself once and I absolutely fell in love with the country and the food. Which is super spicy by the way.   :) I don’t think there are going to be any Asian market in Warwick either, or does anyone know of some? I would love to cook that when I’m over there  ;)

Hummus. I got some jalapeno and red pepper hummus from Tesco and oh my god it's delicious!

There's at least one in Coventry city centre, not far from there.

The Soneday Jaffa Cakes from Lidl, they are the store brand I think. It's weird, I bought them out of necessity for something cheap for DSS who loves Jaffa Cakes, and I've eaten almost all of them because they are soooo much tastier to me than the McVities or other name brands.  [smiley=blush.gif] I think they have more marmalade in the middle, and the sponge is nice and soft and not too dry like some I've had, and the chocolate seems like better quality, too!

Spinach Salad from work.  I eat it for dinner practically every night.  It's spinach with "salsa basilica" (bruscetta topping) pine nuts, fresh tomato, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, black olives and honey mustard dressing.  So yummy.

Rachel's brand yogurt! Yummm. I'm not a huge organic food eater. But that one is totally worth the extra money...
