this is going to sound weird but Pork Luncheon Meat..I have really missed not being able to get Bologna over here and I tried the Pork Luncheon Meat and it tastes like bologna..it is wonderful and my new obsession for now
really? I meant to have a Boars Head Beef Bologna sandwich in Jersey and forgot! DH doesnt know what bologna is - it scares me to try new "meat" since I dont eat lunch meat normally (I ran a deli for a couple years).

There aren't many meats scarier than bologna!  ;D  :P

I'm having porridge with homemade applesauce and I can see it's going to become an obsession... yum!

tangy cheese doritos and vanilla french toast with butter and powdered sugar.

Not together obviously. The doritos are the appetizer :)

Spartan apples.  They are my new favorite apples which I discovered when I was having tooth troubles.  Soft but not mushy, and sweet and just a tiny bit tart.

I have only been here a couple of months, but am going crazy over the cheese.  Who knew the cheddar could be so good?
Also, I am loving the almond croissants from Tesco - I never ate this way back home.
And clotted cream ice cream - yum.
All of the above, along with the Bath ales, are making the jeans too snug.

I'm British, but moved to the US a couple of years ago (and then moved back to the UK a few months later)... part of the reason I moved back was the food - I couldn't find any decent cheddar in the US (at least not decent compared to the cheddar I grew up with) without paying a fortune for imported cheddar, and I couldn't bear the thought of not being able to eat my favourite cheeses for another 5 years :P!
