It's not a specific food I'm obsessing about but more a genre of food if that makes sense?

I'm really into all things that scream "Fall Food" and "Comfort"...So soups, anything pumpkin, apple, etc.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Makes sense to me. Mine is currently pumpkin anything. It doesn't matter if I drink it, eat it or sniff it in candle form, my pumpkin insanity is getting out of hand in the last three weeks. I'm loving every minute of it though. ;)

This too!! I eat them all the time! But they've gotten spendy again!  :-\\\\

Last night I went to Tesco's and they were selling their bags of "Christmas Nuts" and I seriously got soo excited!! The first thing it reminds me of is my dad! He would sit cracking nuts over all the holidays and I instantly remembered the smell, taste and that good warm fuzzy feeling I would get....And had to buy 2 bags! LOL! It's silly the things that get you so excited and bring back such warm, wonderful memories! I really needed that!

Apples, with or without peanut butter smeared on them. Odd for me when the world is overflowing with Christmas treats everywhere you look.

We should be ready to apply for my visa by the end of next week.  But I have to admit, I'm still obsessing over a dish we ordered from an Indian Restaurant while I was visiting England.  Chicken Pasanda is my major obsession and none of the four Indian Restaurants in my town in the US make it.  ARGH!  That is one of the first things I want when I'm finally at home with my fiance.  That and of course, the local chippie...LOVE IT, and the sausages.  I never knew I could adore sausages quite to this extent.  They're nothing like the ones here.

Once I'm there I'll miss my favorite Mexican restaurant, bisquits & gravy, cornbread, collard/turnip greens (southern style) and all the dishes my family used to bring to "pitch-in" dinners for the holidays.  These folks turn casseroles into an art form.

Bet it's pretty evident I live in the south, huh?
Happily ever after...

Mahi mahi. It's the new salmon in our household. When we were in Dublin we ate salmon once a week, at least, but we can't find salmon here that we like (we've tried it from a few different places, both fresh and frozen). I'm so glad I found a delicious replacement!

Magnum ice cream bars. We've been keeping them stocked in the freezer since my mother came to visit for at Easter. And with this weather ... bliss!
