Current Food Obsession?

  In the interim, we do a lot of faux Mexican nights - the Doritos-branded salsa isn't half horrid!

No need for "faux" - get a decent Mexican cookbook. I promise homemade salsa is far better than Dorritos!! 

Oh, I know how to make salsa... I'm just somewhere between lazy and physically broken.   It was a weird family bonding thing to do once me and my siblings all moved out of the house - if we WERE at my parents, we'd make salsa together and gorge ourselves silly!

I just got over my Kraft macaroni and cheese obsession this afternoon.

Can you post a recipe? I had killer tortilla soup in a place in Vegas and have been craving it ever since. It's even better than the Wahaca one and I didn't think that possible.

The Taqueria Canonita at the Venetian. I wasn't bowled over by other stuff I had off the menu, although my husband loved the short ribs, but their Tarascan soup was oh so good! Actually, both their soups were, but Tarascan was a standout.

And you get to sit right next to the "canal."

You have extremely healthy obsessions! 

They seem to have pulled the Kashi Trail Mix bars off the market -- due to the peanut scare presumably.   :\\\'( Picked up some of their Raspberry Chocolate bars -- whoo! very more-ish

but I just found bon bons they are sweets that are chewy and fruity and fab

humous on sesame Ryvita topped with kalamata olives... nom nom nom

I'm still in the states but my obsession is a burger and fries from 'Five Guys' and Ledo's pizza.  Beyond yummy!!!!

when i went back to the states during the holiday's as soon as i landed on american soil the first meal i had was a burger from 5 guys. ZOMG it was so good!

I've never had it...

I'm jonesin' for some salmon right now. My parents don't like it and they don't really go to restaurants where it's on the menu. I may have to wait until I'm back in Dublin!
