wasn't a very helpful thread there but I did find some at the Co-op.  It was a co-op brand, close enough to me..

I did get some at Asda, but it was the last jar. HA HA!  Not that I am anywhere near anyone else though.

I got some Polish pickles in brine in a hoity-toity produce shop that were 95% like the pickles I'm accustomed to. The Polish man who served me was very excited to talk pickles with another brine fan  :)

Did you read the thread? Because in it, Aless says:

We regularly buy pickles from the Polish food section of ASDA.  They're called something like Merkos...?  Anyway, BEST pickles I've found in the UK - better than the Krakus brand, IMO.  Quite crunchy and sour - lovely!  A touch garlicky, but perfect sliced onto a sandwich, yummmmmmm.

A simple thank you would have been nice!  :)

I thought the question was whether or not they sold big jars of pickles at Asda. If that is the question, yes, ASDA sell HUGE jars of Melis pickles. Pretty good. Not kosher dill, but pretty bloody good.
