Really glad the sun decided to come out, but it would have been nice for it to wait until after 8am!  :P Still, it's a glorious spring morning, sun is shining, birds are chirping, and the daffodils are starting to bloom at last! They should be in full force by next weekend. Also, yesterday afternoon was gorgeous and I drove around with the sun roof open.  ;D

Yay!  First day of spring (by the astronomical calendar) - vernal equinox today!  ;D

Ok, technically it started at approx 23:21 yesterday, but we're still in that 24 hour period.  ;)

It's sunny here today & temperatures are getting a wee bit warmer - 'er less chilly anyway.  :P :D

Gorgeous here in France!!!  It's been like an incredible summer's day in the north pole here- and its just spring!  I had no coat on yesterday, I loved it!  ;D

We have achieved daffodils! I repeat, we have achieved daffodils! Not that many, but having a few open is rocking my world. I'm so happy, I'm using bad cliches!

:D  And so we track the progress of the daffodil northwards...

According to QI, spring moves north at a rate of 20miles/day. I'm not entirely sure how they define "spring" though  ;)

We've got daffodils here!!  ;D

Oh my - hasn't it been a gorgeous weather week?!!  It was supposed to get up to 60 degrees here today.  Sadly, I was in work Tuesday through today & not able to fully enjoy it.

I think it's supposed to start cooling off a little from tomorrow, but still stay reasonably pleasant - it's okay as it's only March yet.  I wouldn't want to look back on the 'summer of 2011' as having taken place March 21-25, and that's it, done.  :-X :P ;) :)

April Fool's Day - it's a spring thing!  ;D

I played two AFD jokes on DH this morning before he left for work - I always get him on it, first thing AFD morning!  Hee hee.  First I said - 'Would you look at that?!  Someone's stolen our front gate!'  (And he looked out the window all concerned.)

As he was leaving, I said, 'Have you gained some weight?  Because your zipper has split there.'  And he fell for that one too.

Ahahahahahahahahaaaa!  [smiley=laugh3.gif]  >:D

Yesterday, it clicked that the saying "April showers bring May flowers" must be British. It makes more sense then when I learned it back in PA. But still, I'm not used to being thankful for the odd day of sunshine:

Gorgeous weather!  And so many baby sheep about and baby cows.  Yay spring!  :)

I did this today - just hoping I don't regret it later this week...  [smiley=anxious.gif]

Amazing gorgeous weather here too both Saturday & Sunday.  Even now, it's such a lovely soft night out - crescent moon, stars shining, no wind, lovely.  :)

I love seeing all the lambs leaping around in the pastures.  :)  They mostly go bleating after their mothers as soon as I walk near the fence though.
