Expecting a baby in US 1 month b/4 moving to UK
« on: March 22, 2009, 08:00:58 AM »
Hello
We'll be moving to UK this Sept and soon I am hoping to get the work visa for myself and the dependent visa for my wife. We're expecting a baby a month before we move. We're in the US so our boy (unlike his parents) will be a US citizen. Do I need to get a visa for him as well?

if the baby is not a UK or European citizen (I'm assuming he won't be since you mention getting UK visas for both you and your wife in your post?) then yes, he will need a visa.
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12
