Hi!

My partner got the six month marriage visa a couple of weeks ago from the LA embassy.  We haven't actually booked our wedding ceremony yet but one place we're thinking of going to is Scotland to get hitched.  I'd just like to check before I go ahead and book anything that it wouldn't create any problems getting married there as I'm English or would it make things easier for future applications such as FLR to have the ceremony in England?

Mike

I can't see that there'd be any problem with getting married in Scotland.  English people have been doing that for centuries, or so the historical romances would have us believe  ;D

Pour cette vie et celle d'après
Tu seras mon unique projet.

Je t'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerai.

Oh, it's true!  That's why Gretna Green became so popular.
