I'm not very picky at all, but I don't really like, and try to avoid:

dill
fennel
melon
asparagus

However, I am very fussy, about fruit ripeness, and cannot eat fruit that I think is too soft/ripe.

Are the foods you're listing stuff you've hated all your life? Or do you have food that you used to love and then something turned you off. Conversely, any foods you couldn't stand (in adulthood -- childhood picky-nedd(sp?) doesn't count) but love now?

I've never liked any of the things I've listed.

When I was a child, I didn't like jam, honey, maple syrup, root beer, fish, green olives, or liver.  These days, I'll eat jam and maple syrup in very small amounts, and I love all the other things.

I keep reading this thread subject as 'Fools You Don't Like'. :)

If that were the case, I think it would be a lot longer than six pages!  ;D

I'll join the lima bean-haters club.  I doubt many people here would like natto.. but I can't stand it being put in the fridge, even.

I'm the opposite to some posters about green peppers.  I tolerate them raw, cannot stand them cooked.  They always taste like metal to me.

The kind of eggplant we grow in NA is ick to me.  The Japanese kind is.. OK.

Most sweets and desserts.

Okra.. shudder.

Okra.. shudder.

Yum yum yum!  I used to think I wouldn't like okra at all, but then in the US - I got into the habit of eating these:

The hot ones!

And now I love okra in curries!  :)

I'm the same, except that I really like them raw, but don't like them cooked. And I'm ok with cooked red peppers, but don't like them raw.

Ooooh those okra pickles are fab!  Most people when they don't like okra - I think it's something about the squishy-gooey-snottiness of it when it's (over)cooked.  But those pickles are crisp & hot with chilies in their seasoning!  :)
