Abbreviations?
« on: April 02, 2009, 03:55:53 PM »
I've been around for a few weeks, but still can not make out what some abbreviations here stand for.

Most of my time is spent in the Visas and Citizenship thread, but I suppose that is just for now.  The ones I see most common that I don't get are FIL or DH and other ones I just can't think of right now because I haven't seen them for a while.  I have imagined that FIL could stand for Future In Laws, and DH could be Dear Husband....  haha, I have no idea though.   I think these are used enough that they do stand for something specific, but what I tell myself they stand for doesn't always work, so I figured I'd put my question out there to put my mind at rest.  Also if anyone has any other abbreviations the could explain it would be appreciated.
