Anyone making kugel?
Noodle or otherwise?

I am not going to make one, but maybe in a few more weeks.

Noodle all the way!  Not as much a fan of the potato variety.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

I'm making a savory mushroom noodle kugel. Never did like raisins hanging out in otherwise perfectly good food.

I love noodle kugel, but you can't have noodles on Passover.

Depends on how concerned you are about following the rules!

You can buy kosher for passover noodles!

I am off to DH's aunt and uncles for the evening.  I heard a rumour it was a fish menu this year, so not sure if there will be any Matzo ball soup.  But my MIL made a wicked dessert, a pavlova!  I am very excited!!!  My MIL is doing her real baking tomorrow - Almond Macaroons and merangues.  Yum!

Happy Passover/Pesach.

It's sweet, but not overly sweet.  It's definitely something that can be served as a side dish for a savory meal, like glazed carrots.  Unfortunately, she keeps forgetting to send me the recipe so I can't post it.  I think it's a bit like this one.

That does sound delicious. I love recipes that use carrots for a sweetener.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"
