Driving up to the Lake District to climb Scafell. Probably in the rain. :-\\\\

Snap!

Ours is to have a huge roast dinner, do an Easter egg hunt in the garden for the kids, then, after they go to bed, open a bottle of wine for me and beer for DH and watch a DVD.

The girls and I will try to go to church in the morning..but one of our girls does not like crowds.
For the meal will will have gammon, potato salad, shuck beans, and either rolls or cornbread.
I'll make a chocolate cake with mini eggs on top for pudding.
If it is nice we will either go for a nice walk or a cycle ride.

I really want to make a lamb cake like my mom used to when we were kids but I can't find a mold for it anywhere!

Let's see...

Afternoon delight today  [smiley=blush.gif]

Dr Who tomorrow!

Hanging out with some friends on Sunday - hopefully the weather will cooperate for grilling out.

In-laws gave us chocolate eggs when we saw them for Mother's Day weekend, so we'll get into that chocolate.

Studying the Highway Code, and probably some country walking as/when the weather turns off nicer.

Happy Easter everyone!

Plans have changed as we're having the Texan boss over who's kicking about on his own this Easter. So jujjing up the menu to cola basted ham (nigella recipe) pommes dauphoinoise, garlic green beans and roasted vegetable couscous. And a strawberry tart to finish, though the pastry cream has turned out a mite on the puny side... :(

Weather looking promising so other half and I will fill the eggs tonight (he likes to sample more than fill...)

Going to my parents' house. My parents are making lamb this year instead of ham! After all these years they finally remembered my sister and I don't eat ham!!!  [smiley=idea2.gif]
