Been to Costco today...
« on: April 11, 2009, 11:34:58 PM »
Because I go there pretty much every week...highlight of my life.

And they had big 3 packs of Wishbone Italian Salad dressing...3 HUGE bottles for like £8. I didn't buy it, but now feel like I am missing out on something. I hate when that happens. I don't even like Wishbone salad dressing...

and they also had this big huge bottle of Ranch dressing & dip. Again, didn't buy it as I don't dig Ranch that much, but I wanted to share!

Happy Easter!

I don't like it much, either.

Thought I was the only one. :-[

I don't like plain ranch, but Wishbone started making a salsa ranch about a year before I left the States (or at least that's the first time I noticed it) which I loved.

OMG, that sounds so good!

I think it's because I have very limited lactose-tolerance, but I dislike all cream-based dressings and sauces.

Ranch, sour cream, etc.

I'd rather skip the dressing entirely.

Yay, thanks!  Making my three-monthly pilgrimage to Costco tomorrow, so this is good news.   ;D
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

Hi all,

Quick question:

I am a member of Costco here in the States and I have to drive approx 1 1/2hrs to get there.  I use the store approx 1-2 times a month.

Will it be worth joining in the UK if my nearest one is going to be Bristol from Western Cornwall, approx 3 hrs drive.  We would do a two dayer once a month to make it worth our while.  I was just wondering if the UK one is as big and as good (same/similar foods) as the US one.

BTW how much to join?  I could probably get my Mum & Dad to go up with us in their camper.

Do you think it would be worth joining for such a distance and not a lot of trips.  My once a month probably won't end up being that after forking out for the gas prices I won't be use to.

Oh my goodness I loved that dressing! I can't find it anywhere in the states anymore and I'm so sad. I've started making my own though, it's pretty good but a bit of a pain.

Yes membership is good worldwide, and the hotdogs cost the same world wide apparently! I think its worth it, if you do a trip every few months its worth it. I go so frequently because its about 5 minutes drive from my house, and its right next to my local supermarket, how lucky am I!!! But its worth it, I think their meat is of good quality, as are their veggies (although sometimes expensive.) Their birthday cakes are great too.

IS this not FTW?!?!!? I'm on my parents Account here so yay. I don't know what location is closest to Devon though. Do they have american cupcakes in the bakery? That is one thing that has made me sad. I HATE "Fairy cakes", at least the ones I've had so far.

For the Win. Roughly indicates the best possible option.
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"
