Visiting young lady
« on: April 15, 2009, 02:23:32 AM »
Hi – I have been living in England (Swindon) for over three years after moving here from Seattle. This forum and website was ever so helpful before and after making the leap. I can’t remember my username, so I guess I am now considered a newby on this site.

I need some advice and suggestions. A friend's daughter is coming to visit England for three weeks. I am not able to take time off work and was wondering if anyone knows of any tour groups that are inexpensive that she can join up with for some short trips around the UK and possibly to Paris. Or how to hook her up with others interested in a bit of traveling. She is in her early 20s and I am sure has the confidence to travel solo, but traveling with other would be much more enjoyable! Any suggestions for how to help her enjoy her time here without me would be welcome. Thank you.

Check out: http://www.andersontours.co.uk/

They have quite a few day trips.  A few friends and I took their Germany Rhineland trip in 2007 and had a great time.

STA Travel and Contiki both have lots of tours and trips she could take, and people will all be around her age.
