I just got off the phone with the man working on my case in the LA office. He asked me if I had a document for my daughter, saying he couldn't remember if he had called me before. i told him he had left a note on my husbands passport telling us we needed to either get her a UK passport or a migrant visa as well. I told him we filed for her UK passport and were hoping to get it back soon. He said good and asked when i filed it. I told him march 30th and he said very good. he asked if I was to be issued a visa, how soon would i be looking to travel. I told him probably soon after since my husband was now over there and seeking employment. He said that was very good and thanks for answering his questions.
I hope I don't have my hopes up now for nothing! (but I am prepared if they refuse again). He sounded positive on the phone anyway. I *would* like to think that if they intended to refuse me again, they wouldn't have bothered to call and ask about my daughter. I guess time will tell!
